The BIR's ready-made tables that tell payroll how much tax to take each payday: daily, weekly, twice a month or monthly.
Most useful for: Career shifter
- In real life
- On the monthly table, no tax is withheld up to ₱20,833 of taxable pay. On the twice-a-month table, up to ₱10,417.
- Why it matters to you
- It is the rule for every payday (RR 11-2018). Working out the whole year is only for December, or your last pay if you leave.
