Salary grade questions

What is the salary grade table for 2026?

It is the third tranche of the Salary Standardization Law VI (Executive Order 64, s. 2024), effective 1 January 2026 and printed in DBM National Budget Circular 601. Monthly basic salary runs from ₱14,634 at SG 1 Step 1 to ₱462,329 at SG 33 Step 2.

How much is SG 15 in 2026?

₱42,178 a month at Step 1, up to ₱45,202 at Step 8. At Step 1, take-home pay is about ₱36,493.69 a month after GSIS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and tax, with the ₱2,000 PERA included.

How much is SG 11 in 2026?

₱31,705 a month at Step 1, up to ₱33,611 at Step 8. At Step 1, take-home pay is about ₱28,805.08 a month with PERA, after GSIS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and withholding tax.

Is there a salary increase for government employees in 2027?

Yes. EO 64 schedules a fourth tranche from 1 January 2027: SG 1 Step 1 rises from ₱14,634 to ₱15,208. DBM had not issued the circular that implements it as of the last check, so treat the 2027 figures as scheduled.

How often does a government employee move up a step?

One step for every 3 years of continuous satisfactory service (CSC-DBM Joint Circular 1, s. 2012). Promotion to a higher position moves you to a higher grade.

Do LGU employees get the same salary?

Not always. Under EO 64 Sec. 4, a local government pays a share of the national schedule by its income class: 100% down to 65% depending on class and whether it is a province, city or municipality. An LGU may pay the full national rate if its budget allows.
